Leadership and Committees
Our Committees
One of the best ways to get involved in our church is to work on one of our committees. God uses a broad range of talents and age levels, all with different levels of time commitment. Our committees usually meet once a month. If you are interested in
finding out more about a particular committee and its mission, please either email the elder who supports this committee, or attend one of the meetings to see if you would like to join. We need your creative ideas, suggestions, and constructive comments in
all phases of our church life. With just a small amount of time, you can make a difference in how our church family and worship experience all come together. Please click on our calendar, email the elder of the committee you are interested in, or call our office at 540/659-2306 Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to confirm all meeting times. Christian Education
The Christian Education committee invites, encourages, and helps all those who pass through our doors to become a more mature disciple of Jesus Christ. |

Mission
The Mission Committee provides spiritual outreach to people in need on a local, national, or international level; participates in a variety of activities, including projects in local and national relief as well as charitable programs and activities; aid to community hunger and housing; aid to foreign missions and missionaries; evangelism/spiritual outreach; assists other Summit church groups and misssions. |

The Finance/Committment Committee provides for the financial management of the church,
stimulates spiritual growth through the sharing of God's gifts of time, talent and finances. |

Outreach
The Outreach Committee reaches out to our community in Christian love in several ways including: the Web Site, providing information about worship services on our church sign, providing visitor gifts, overseeing church advertising, organizing Sunday morning greeters, and updating the Face Book page. Our goal is to reach out to the community and build our family of believers. |

enables our community to learn about Summit's mission and ministries; provides opportunities to welcome our community into fellowship and worship; embraces guests visiting our church. |
