SHOES DRIVE FOR HONDURAS
Fall 2009

The Shoes for School shoe drive was a huge success!  Because of everyone's generosity, Summit was able to send enough money for over 100 pairs of school
shoes for the Honduran children of Villa Soleada.  In Honduras school is not a given.  SHH works hard to make school available for as many children as possible.  They
feel that through education the people of Honduras will be able to help themselves
to better their lives and living conditions.  In turn they hope the people they help 
will be able to help others in Honduras as well.  Children in Honduras require a
uniform, black school shoes, and a backpack to go to school.  Last summer through
the efforts of Kyle Griffen, Summit sent a large number of back packs and school
supplies to Honduras.  Thank you Summit for your continued support of such a wonderful cause!
